The Oklahoman: Gov. Fallin urges lawmakers to 'summon courage'

Tulsa World: Protests erupt after Gov. Fallin's State of the State speech
After Gov. Mary Fallin concluded her State of the State remarks, women in the gallery dropped a banner with Fallin’s likeness and the words “Oklahoma State of Despair” across it from the railing, before being ushered out.
The tweet from Sydne Rain reads: “Don’t get it twisted, Oklahoma is in a state of DESPAIR! @GovMaryFallin must be held accountable for incarceration rates, state of education, and the oil monopoly that reigns supreme in this state!”
About the same time the banner dropped, a woman who was holding a child in the gallery began yelling that Fallin was a “murderer” and a “liar” before being asked to leave.
The Oklahoman: Former Oklahoma Health Department official alleges another agency covered up financial problems
The state Health Department's former chief financial officer leveled accusations that another state agency helped conceal the department's multimillion dollar budget problems.
However, the Health Department dismissed the allegations from Mike Romero, the former CFO, as baseless and part of a bizarre change in behavior after officials raised issues with his job performance.
Romero's allegations raise questions about whether the Office of Management and Enterprise Services knew about the Health Department's financial mess, and failed to sound the alarm. Preston Doerflinger, the interim health commissioner, previously oversaw OMES.
